Ensures easy maintenance and longevity, backed by a two-year warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
The ideal time to fill deep ruts left by tractors, sprayers, harvesters, and irrigators is generally right after harvest. Treating the fields close to harvest ensures your upcoming summer spray passes are completely smooth, preventing machinery stress. For best results, operate the machinery when there is a small amount of soil moisture present.
The machine is marketed to fill ruts up to 300mm deep in a single pass. However, because track and field conditions naturally vary, it can often handle even deeper tracks. If your tracks are in severely bad or mistreated condition, two passes may be required to achieve a completely smooth finish.
Your operating speed depends heavily on the condition of your wheel tracks:
- Good / Smooth tracks: You can travel at speeds up to 25 km/h.
- Average conditions: Operating speeds typically range between 15 and 22 km/h.
- Severely rough / Cut-up tracks: Speeds down to 10 km/h may be required to safeguard the operator, tractor, and implement.
Yes. The secret lies in our patented opposed disc gang system. The opposing discs entry into the soil simultaneously, evenly dragging and throwing dirt inward from both sides of the track. Furthermore, the updated design features increased clearance behind the discs to virtually eliminate blockages.
Absolutely. The machine is fully compatible with Controlled Traffic Farming (CTF) systems, semi-controlled operations, or any farming layout that produces recurring wheel ruts.
The machine offers a high level of adjustment and customization to accommodate almost any setup. It supports a minimum track width configuration of 2 metres up to a maximum of 4 metres, and anywhere in between.
Yes, it functions in both conditions. We offer two interchangeable roller styles to match your soil profile:
- Slat-Style Roller (Standard): Maintenance-free and capable of handling standard soil moisture.
- Slack Chain Roller: Features an open design with an adjustable chain setup specifically engineered for wetter, stickier conditions to prevent mud blockages.
Our trailed design uses a simple single-point connection consisting of a drawbar pin and standard hydraulic hoses. While operating, the floating hitch allows the machine to instantly trace the exact depth of your wheel tracks, pulling the precise amount of soil needed. When you are ready to transport, the hitch instantly locks into a solid framework using hydraulic pins.
Maintenance is straightforward. You only need to ensure all nuts and bolts remain perfectly tight—especially during the initial break-in period. After that, a quick periodic seasonal check-over is all that is required.
Never. There are no grease nipples on this machine. All components are greased directly at our factory and sealed utilizing premium, high-quality sealed-for-life bearings and pivot points.
Yes. All Grizzly machines are proudly designed, manufactured, and sold in Australia for tough Australian farming conditions. Our in-house welding, sandblasting, and painting are completed in our dedicated facility, which has been supporting Australian farmers since 1982.
You can expand the unit from three discs per side to four discs per side by adding our optional bolt-on filler discs. This is highly recommended for wide or exceptionally deep tracks because it cleanly tapers off the outside ridge and funnels maximum soil back into the center.
To combat pulling in unique or uneven field conditions, we offer an optional bolt-on coulter kit. Acting similarly to a boat rudder, the coulters bolt to the rear of the machine next to the rollers to ensure it tracks in a perfectly straight line. They are sold in pairs (setups can use either 2 or 4 coulters).
For extreme wheel tracks or fields that require a complete ground reset, we offer the Grizzly Wheel Track Renovator XTR34 model. Equipped with 22 discs, it features an overall width of 6 metres (covering a full 3 metres between tracks) to quickly and efficiently level out massive broadacre irregularities.
