Grizzly brings you the TXi. It is the most advanced disc plough in the world, designed to work in some of the most hostile conditions which industry and agriculture demands.
It’s even bigger and it’s even better then you could imagine, and you simply have to see it in the flesh to get a gauge on how wonderfully put together the Grizzly TXi is. If you don’t already have one working in your program, then it’s costing you money.
Designed for use behind large bulldozers with excess of over 550hp and 60 tonnes, the Grizzly TXi will plough the hardest of soil, stand up to tree roots and limbs, plough in organic matter and open up country in the most efficient way you can nd, to a depth of up to 400mm.
TXi will be a pivotal tool in helping you develop land and improve soil, harvest rain, help eliminate run off, reinvigorate grassland and help make a seedbed for your new planting.
It can be set up for various soil types and conditions with its adjustable gang angles.
Using the latest in bushes and pins, all with seals for maximum working life and minimizing wear, as well as utilizing the latest design techniques.
The TXi needs minimal grease on the high moving pivots and the use of Grizzly’s own patent pending oil bath bearing design mean the TXi ploughs for more hours in a day.
When discs need replacing, due to the 2-disc assemblies each disc is fitted individually, therefore making it a clean, simple and relatively fast job removing the need to go anywhere near the bearings.

Aussie Made

The revolutionary shared oil – oil bath bearing system does away with greasing disc bearings completely.
The Oil Bath system utilizing duo-cone seals keeps the 2 x double tapered rollers bearings running in oil and completely clean of ingress and contaminants in an environment that is possibly one of harshest applications on earth.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Grizzly TXI 32 is designed for bull dozers over approximately 550 horsepower. If you have a smaller dozer, you can step down to a smaller Grizzly TXI model, such as the Grizzly TXI 24, and still achieve the required working depth.
Yes. The key is matching the Grizzly TXI size to the available horsepower. A smaller dozer can use a smaller Grizzly TXI model and still achieve the required depth.
The extra weight provides strength and allows the discs to run at a lesser angle while still achieving the required depth. This can produce a better finish, allow faster travel and reduce stress on bearings, axles and running gear.
Most bulldozers do not come with a drawbar fitted, so a drawbar may need to be fitted to the dozer to connect the Grizzly TXI.
Yes. The weight of the machine and sharpness of the discs allow the Grizzly TXI to cut through just about all tree roots, breaking them into manageable pieces that can then rot down or be raked up.
The long-stroke hydraulic pitch control allows movement and articulation between the bulldozer and plough. It provides cushioning while maintaining positive pressure, allowing the machine to handle greater movement without bottoming out.
Yes. The Grizzly TXI is designed to work in both wet and dry conditions. Its floppy T-bar scrapers help when working in wetter conditions, although there is a point where conditions become too wet to work.
No. The Grizzly TXI uses a sealed oil-bath bearing system that requires no daily greasing and is designed to provide a long working life in severe conditions.
The bearings operate in a sealed, clean environment, while the sealing system helps prevent contamination and moisture from entering the bearing system.
The machine is designed to handle occasional underground obstacles. Depending on the impact, it may ride up and over the obstacle or cut through it. The machine has been used in conditions where it has broken through rock and cut through tree roots.
Each disc is individually bolted to the bearing housing, allowing individual discs to be removed and replaced relatively easily in the field.
Yes. Non-pneumatic tyres are standard to allow for working in rough conditions where punctures from sharp timber or other obstacles are a concern. They provide some flexibility without the risk of going flat.
One person can generally fold the Grizzly TXI down to its 3.5-metre transport width in around 10–20 minutes on flat ground.
The hydraulic depth adjustment allows the operator to set the machine to the required depth. A depth indicator shows the relationship between the wheel leg and main frame, making it easier to set and maintain the working depth.
Under normal working conditions, the Grizzly TXI is expected to provide up to 20,000 acres before major maintenance is required. Disc replacement may be needed sooner depending on working depth and disc wear, and regular visual inspections are recommended.
